I have hand forged this necklace using sterling silver, which I first textured and then cut different 3/8” size discs to resemble the phases of the moon.
Each charm has an oxidized texture to look like the moon’s surface.
The charms hang from a sterling silver link chain, that has also been oxidized.
If you prefer the necklace to have a shiny finish, that is an option on the dropdown menu. Both the charms and the chain will be shiny with no darkened areas.
Please understand that each moon phase is hand cut and the texture on the charms is created by hand as well using separate hammering strikes and so it is impossible to create the exact texture & placement of “moon craters” each time. Although your necklace will look very similar to the one in the listing photo it will not be exact. This is the true essence of handmade.
